Description: UNFPA Myanmar has partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including UN agencies, international and national/local NGOs, civil society organizations (CSOs), foundations and research institutions. UNFPA Myanmar has a presence in a number of priority states/regions, integrating development, peace building and humanitarian spectrums. When the pandemic hit Myanmar in March 2020, it changed the trajectory of community engagement activities for development and humanitarian actors. The usual practice of face to face discussions, trainings and awareness sessions with groups at the camps and community level got restricted and had to be replaced (mostly) with digital methods. This shift entailed a period of adjustment not just for the community volunteers and target population, but also for the staff working in non-government and civil society organizations.
