- The purpose of this RFQ is to select a suitable candidate who can provide financial management support to the CDC project finances, ensuring compliance with the UNAIDS financial rules and procedures.UNAIDS is an organization that is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are therefore requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet UNAIDS requirements while ensuring a high level of service.The Finance Assistant will work closely with relevant programme, administrative and operations staff and consultant of the UNAIDS Country Office (UCO); coordinate and liaise with the financial counterparts in UNAIDS Geneva, CDC and the Award sub recipients.The Finance Assistant will have the following primary duties under the CDC Project:• Provide finance, budget and reporting support for the CDC project to keep a high standard of financial management, both internally and towards donors and sub recipients in the following areas:o Support the management of the CDC budget by reviewing the budget formulation and preparing revisions as needed.
